I've had some fun student comments this year, but today I had a couple of favorites:
"I swear she's a ninja."
"She is, bro."
Lastly, I had a student get a 600 on her writing SOL, so I went to find her. When I pulled her out of class, here's how our conversation went:
"Guess what score you got on the SOL?"
"A 600?"
"Wait...who told you!?"
"What? I did!?
"Yes! How did you know?"
"I was just being sarcastic!"
"Yes, you got a 600! Isn't that awesome!?"
"Thank you, Mrs. T! You inspire me! Why don't you teach dual enrollment?"
