Today, during the fire drill, one of my students found a squirrel tail (just sitting in the grass), picked it up, and called out, "Look what I found!" to everyone around him.
A few minutes later, a girl brought snake skin to show that she had found around the same area.
I'm guessing the snake ate the squirrel or something, but either way, it was the strangest, goofiest fire drill I've ever had.
This is why I teach. lol. It keeps me going.
