A little out-of-order, I wanted to tell you about my 4th of July celebration. In other years, we've gone to see fireworks at the local city, or set off fireworks in a parking lot. Last year, I believe all of our friends got together for a cookout, had some drinks, and stood in a road to watch nearby fireworks. It was so fun.
This year, my brother went to D.C. to watch the fireworks (lucky), so we decided to stay in a have a quiet night at mom and dad's. We watched the fireworks on t.v., which I always love to do, had a great cookout, and played with sparklers and fire crackers -- always a classic. We, as a new family, had a wonderful time.
