I have successfully landed the English position at the local high school.
As of today, I am the new English teacher for grades 11 and 12.
Never did I think I'd actually get lucky enough to get a job for Spring semester.
I thought I was going to have to work in the
grocery store or retail store or substitute.
This means tons of work ahead.
--but I get paid,
and I have more pride to say that
I'm a teacher now.
