My hot shower was ready for me as I dreamily awaited the few moments of relaxation and relief I would have before shutting my tired eyes. These moments were long gone once I realized that I promised my students brownies for tomorrow if they did their homework from last night. It was 10:30 pm (way past my bed time as of late), and I was rushing to Kroger. Brownies. Eggs. Juice.
Great. I just realized I forgot the plastic cups.
Anyway, the brownies are in the oven, and I will be waiting the 45 minutes they will take to cook. Hello, midnight! Hello, very few hours of sleep. Hello, Starbucks!!
